The School of Dance Presents:
Half a Century in Motion: Honoring Chicanx Dance, Art, and Activism
2025 marks the 50th anniversary of “Chicano Awareness Week”, held at the University of Utah in March 1975. In honor of this anniversary and of Hispanic/Latinx Heritage Month, the School of Dance hosts an exhibition, half a century in motion, highlighting research that explores these (his)stories and futures. The exhibit will be displayed in the Marriott Center for Dance lobby from September 15 to October 15, 2025.
