Your Line of Inquiry from Lived Experience: Researching Blacks in Ballet
Thursday, February 5th at 12pm. Virtual.
As a former professional Black ballet dancer who rarely saw representation of artists like herself in ballet documentation, Professor Deans wanted more details about the legacy she was part of. This presentation will share some of her discoveries, the methods she used to find the information, and the personal growth she experienced while researching something so personal.

This event is part of the University of Utah's Black History Month 2026.
