Clover Kelly received a BA in Studio Art from Kalamazoo College in her home state of Michigan. She began her career in theatre as a volunteer at the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre, where she constructed costumes for Beauty and the Beast and Philadelphia Story. Soon after, she became an intern at Shakespeare & Company in Massachusetts, where she constructed costumes for The Taming of the Shrew, Merry Wives of Windsor, and Twelfth Night.

Clover went on to work as an overhire stitcher for the Moscow Ballet's Great Russian Nutcracker Tour and then as a costume technician at Opera in the Ozarks in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, where she constructed costumes for Lucia De Lammermoor, Cendrillon, and The Magic Flute.

The following summer, Clover worked as a stitcher at the Utah Festival of Opera and Musical Theatre. She constructed costumes for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Man of La Mancha, Carmen, She Loves Me, and The Magic Flute.

In addition to theatrical sewing, Clover enjoys constructing costumes and clothing for herself and her friends and family. She is excited to join the costume shop at the School of Dance.
