Alpha Wealth Foundation

Hello!

Alpha Wealth Foundation, a nonprofit committed to strengthening dance in Utah, is preparing to launch the Utah Dance Pass this fall, a new audience-development initiative designed to help more people discover and attend dance performances throughout Utah. Working with Bandwango, the software company behind the Get Out Pass and more than 1,500 successful pass programs nationwide, the Utah Dance Pass will make it easier than ever for dance enthusiasts to experience more dance. Pass holders will be able to attend participating performances, workshops, and events throughout Utah for a fraction of what they would pay purchasing tickets individually.

As part of the launch, we are recruiting volunteers to assist at selected performances across the state. I am reaching out to see if you would be willing to share this opportunity with your dance students, alumni, or other members of your department community.

Volunteers will help:

  • Introduce patrons to the Utah Dance Pass

  • Answer basic questions about the program

  • Assist audience members with purchasing a pass using their phones

  • Help with occasional giveaways and audience engagement activities

  • Receive a complimentary Utah Dance Pass so they can attend additional performances for free!

This opportunity may be a good fit for students interested in:

  • Arts administration

  • Audience development

  • Nonprofit management

  • Marketing and community engagement

  • Networking within Utah's dance community

  • Attending more dance shows, for free!

Volunteers should be at least 18 years old, comfortable interacting with the public, and willing to work a few performances throughout the season.

As a thank-you, volunteers will receive complimentary Utah Dance Pass benefits based on their level of participation.

We would greatly appreciate your help sharing this opportunity with students and alumni who may be interested in supporting dance organizations throughout Utah while gaining experience behind the scenes of a statewide arts initiative.

Please forward this information, along with this accompanying interest form, to students and other interested persons. Thank you!
