Continuum celebrates the UU School of Dance’s amazing faculty choreographers and re-stagers, while featuring the School’s second Korean universities exchange project. Dr. Heung Nam Kim, Professor at Sejong University, Dean of the College of Fine Arts, Chair of the Dance Department, and General Director of Toetmaru Dance Company in Korea, presents a new contemporary work created especially for UU students. Audiences will also experience excerpts from one of Tchaikovsky’s most beloved story ballets, The Nutcracker, staged by UU faculty member Luc Vanier. UU faculty members Christine McMillan and Satu Hummasti explore new contemporary and neo-classical dances.
