Seeking an Assistant Professor of Dance at Carleton College

Carleton College, a highly selective liberal arts institution in Northfield, Minnesota, invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Dance position. We are seeking a dynamic artist-scholar to direct the College's dance program and join our Department of Theater and Dance.

This is an ideal role for candidates who hold an MFA or Ph.D. and are passionate about integrating creative practice and dance studies within a rigorous liberal arts environment. The successful candidate will teach a broad range of courses, including dance history/theory, choreography, and technique/practice (contemporary, modern, or other specialty), and contribute to a welcoming and inclusive pedagogical culture.
